A fraternity and sorority of like minded individuals redefining the definition of what a "playa" is. They almost ALWAYS listen to the music podcast of the same name. If not, and they use the term, they can most certainly be referred to as "Trippin". These types are to be corrected, pointed in the right direction, or avoided at all costs. Playa Phi Playas never refer to themselves as being a playa/player. They detest the term. They prefer to say, "I'm playa". Which means to have playa tendencies attractive to the opposite sex, all the positive attributes of a bachelorette/bachelor ("staying on point") used in a constructive manner. Only members/listeners of Playa Phi Playa have been known to use the phrase in this manner. Members of Playa Phi Playa tend to be well adept with female/male interaction. They have a sense of style in step with the times that is uniquely their own, and are generally copied by others. The words "playa phi playa" and trendsetter go hand in hand to members. Married (or committed) members are excellent monogamous lovers who know how to "keep the lovers they have earned". Promiscuity among single members is neither encouraged nor "frowned upon". Monogamy is encouraged, but the disloyal aren't ridiculed. Dishonesty is NOT TOLERATED at all. Generally, all members must adhere to "The Playa Code". "The Playa Code" is an esoteric set of unwritten rules that must be respected at all times. Listeners are encouraged to tune into the music podcast to get a general gist of what it means to be playa phi playa and follow "The Playa Code".

Hazing incidents

In 2005, Jack Phoummarath, an 18 year old pledge at the University of Texas, died from alcohol poisoning in what was described by his family as a hazing incident. Three former leaders of the chapter pled no contest. A settlement was reached with the fraternity for 4.2 million. The fraternity organization did not have insurance, and was unable to pay the entire settlement.

In 2013 Lambda Phi Epsilon was banned from San Francisco State University after the death of 18 year old pledge Peter Tran. The University determined that the death was alcohol related from a hazing incident.

A co-ed international professional music fraternity and honor society that doesn't act like it, usually causing other problems to the other music frats like unnecessary drama, baggage, and cock blocking. If no other music frat is around them, they will turn onto each other to cause drama just so they can have something to talk about.

Alpha Kappa Phi

This is known as the Agonnian sorority. They are part of the Agonian civilization, which come from Agonia and live in the Agonian Mansion in Potsdam, NY. They love everything about themselves and the fellow Agonian girls in the culture. They love to party and mark arts and crafts for the fellow "AGO's". This canNot be confused with the common "EGO", which is a waffle company. They do not take this name well and will then socially destroy you by not talking to you anymore. All love to yell, drink, do the naughty, and make fun of other girls for no reason. Agonians are the most supreme civilization to walk this face of the earth (aka Potsdam), may soon go to war with the Cantonian's from Canton, who may or may not have stolen their anchor.
