A Game Merchant's work is most commonly seen in a series of games. i.e. Call of Duty. The game play stays the same, or in some cases degrades, but just enough "new" is added to sell another round.
Game Burnout Syndrome is a condition in which a gamer is worn out from playing their usual games way more than their standard amount of time in a day. This syndrome is especially prevalent during the time school/college students are on break and have much more free time to play games instead of doing something like going outside or finishing a summer essay.
Joe: "Hey, do you know any new games out there?"
Jess: "Yeah, why?"
Joe: "I'm having something called "game burnout syndrome", I need something new."
Jess: "Why don't you just go outside?"
