To be the last person romantically involved with someone before they "come out of the closet". As "striking out" is to be shut down, and happens quite often; fouling out, or turning someone homosexual is far less frequent, just as in baseball.

When a party-goer smashs the top of the bottle of another party-goer with their own causing the alcohol to foam and overflow. A "Party Fowl" is declared and both parties must chug whatever froths from their bottle.

*"John" sees a "hot", but sober girl, holding a beer. He approachs and hits the top of her beer with his own beer bottle.*
"Party Foul!"
*Both "John" and the "Hot", but sober, girl must now chug any beer which begins to spill*

Foul shots

A drinking game that is most popular during the ACC basketball tournament or March madness where the players draw two players names out of a hat and throughout the course of a game are to take a shot of captain barbarossa spiced rum for each foul committed by each player. Generally considered a reputable drink, barbarossa is the accepted, low-dollar choice for this activity.
*If a player draws two forwards or centers or a combination of both, coke may be an acceptable chaser, if any.

"Hey man are you going to come watch the game against Kansas? We got a handle of barbarossa so we'll be playing foul shots."
