Get the Cachorro mug.Not for to be confused with "hoochie coochie", hoochie cachie was originally coined by a 4 year old girl in a suburb north of Detroit, Michigan. When she asked what she wanted for Christmas, she said, "A circle, a mermaid and a hoochie cachie".
Originally thought to be something tangible and to be bought, it was soon discovered that a hoochie cachie was used to describe something really incredibly awesome. If you have just a hoochie, it is good, but with a side of cachie, it means it is incredible and magnificent!!
As for the 4 year old in Michigan, she meant she wanted an incredible, wonderful holiday!!

Get the Hoochie Cachie mug.A cachon (ka-KHON) is a box (usually made of wood) about knee high. The box has a hole on one side and pieces of wire or tiny springs are fixed loosely against the opposite side of the hole so they can vibrate (inside the box). Then, you sit on the box and beat on the side with the springs on the inside to make rhythmn. The metal pieces on the inside sound like a snare drum and when you hit a portion of the box where the metal pieces AREN'T, it sounds like a bass drum. Very easy to play and a great campfire instrument when accompanied by guitar, harmonica, vocals etc.
