From Freddy Vs. Jason: Being in a situation where you're backed into a corner, then have a revelation pin (or "skewer") you to said corner, then have another revelations happen that completely screws you over.

Gibb was stuck in a dream because of her drinking. She was backed into a locker, then Freddy ripped the door off, ready to strike. Suddenly, in the real world, Jason impaled the lit raver and Gibb, leaving her totally skewer screwed.
