Selling like beer

Upon using the phrase "selling like hotcakes" to describe an item that sells really fast, I realized that I dont know what a hotcake is, nor have I ever sold or bought one. So I decided that beer is the fastest selling item I could think of. So I am officially changing the old phrase "selling like hotcakes" to "selling like beer"

people that care more about the spelling of words and correcting them then what the words mean.
even if everyone reading if can understand it just fine!

they love the feeling of superiority that comes from correcting other people.

an older name for the spelling nazi and one we still use to this day but to a lesser extent is : SMUG.

over selling

in basketball, when you get touched by a player from the other team and then fall down and act like you've been shot even when it is a very light touch.

Johnny was over selling today during the basketball game. I barely touched him and he flipped backwards five times and acted like i had broken his neck.
