Bus Paranoia

Often occurs when you have smoked some chronic. feelings of anxiety and paranoia are often felt when traveling on

a full bus. many thoughts run through your head and it is not uncommon to think everyone is thinking stuff about you.

o man i im so stoned,i need to get off this packed bus before i go crazy, wats that guy looking at do i look high...... hence the term bus paranoia.

ghost bus

A bus that is reported by a GPS-based information system (such as NextBus) that does not physically exist. This can be caused by the operator not logging out a bus that is going out of service. (For the opposite situation, see stealth bus.)

"No. 7 bus in 33 minutes? Shit! Wait, now it says 2 minutes.
(2 minutes later). Hey, no bus! Must have been a ghost bus."

A pun on "sucks to be you." In this form, it refers to those unfortunate souls who attend Boston University. Often heard at hockey games.

BU student: We just lost to 5-0 to Boston College. Our season is over.

the band bus is the best means of transportation for band kids. the band bus takes the band kids to band events. many things happen on the band bus such as: band orgy, a game of truth or dare, reading sex tips out of a magazine, and changing into the lovely band uniforms.

care bus

When someone is telling you useless information. Something that you dont find interesting,lacks purpose, or that you simply dont care about, & your response is "care bus" or " there goes the care bus .. and no one was on it". showing that you dont care & that they may be better off just shutting their mouth. Also can be used with sarcasm, or when someone is complaining and you dont have sympathy for them.

Rachel-"Heyy, last night I had chicken for dinner but my mom burnt it, so it was gross!!"

Karissa- ".. Care bus.."

Rachel-" Shutup, lol"

bus count

The number of people on a project that can die (such as being hit by a bus or win the lottery, etc.) without the project losing some critical, un-replaceable ability.
The more people who understand the whole system, the stronger and more resilient your organization.

Mary's website project has a bus count of 1: if the web guy goes, they have to start over.
