The Scopes Law

The term was coined by Gaming Steve Message Board member Logan Felipe in a thread discussing evolution*. The law is named after "the State of Tennessee v. John Thomas Scopes", a court case that provides a well documented, real world example of the law in action. The law's creation was also partially inspired by Godwin's Law.

Grape stompers

Another term for the kidneys. As some people sample urine like fine wine, a haematuria is a fine roset, a dehydrated urine is a strong Pinot noir and a diabetics urine is a moscato. So as the kidneys produce urine, they are the equivalent to the grape stomping stage in making wine.

Damn Susie my grape stompers have been hurting lately, I might have a UTI.

A device similar to a dustpan or miniature shovel, used to pick up dog droppings during a dogwalk. A long attached handle relieves the operator from having to bend over. Usually a spring-activated flap (controlled by a squeezegrip at the top of the handle) is manually opened and closed on the leading edge of the blade during the catch, preventing the poop from rolling out. Use of the pooper scooper is considered good etiquette, and with a bit of practice resembles a golf putt or croquet strike.

I'm totally into using the pooper scooper when walking Smokey. It's like he never took a dump!
