Phantom Shitter

An individual who, in secret, defecates in a location other than a toilet, for the purpose of creating humor and/or havoc. The practice is more common anywhere large collections of male humans cohabitate, such as in college dorms and military barracks, but may occur at any time, in any place, regardless of the demographics of the locale. Naval lore suggests that the practice dates back to World War II.

"The Phantom Shitter has struck again"

A prime example may be found in the first ten minutes of the film "Flight of the Intruder" when the Phantom Shitter strikes the XO's ashtray.

Phaethon

The son of Helios, the sun god.

Phaethon seeks assurance that his mother, Clymene, is telling the truth that his father is the sun god Helios. When Phaethon obtains his father's promise to drive the sun chariot as proof, he fails to control it and the Earth is in danger of burning up when Phaeton is killed by a thunderbolt from Zeus to prevent further disaster. The name "Phaëton" means the "shining” is also an epithet of Clymenus by Merope or Clymene and Lucifer the Morning Star Venus.

Phantasy Star Online

The most recent addition to a Sega game series known as Phantasy Star. Many uninformed Sega fans claim that this game "revolutionized" online gaming but they would be wrong as it was neither the first online game nor the first online RPG. Its impossible to ignore the fact that online gaming was popular on the PC years before the Dreamcast was ever invented.

Its impossible to have revolutionized anything by doing the same thing someone else already did years before you. Its even more impossible when they did it even better.

Phantom DL

When one athlete is placed on the disabled list for the sole purpose of clearing a roster spot for another player, despite being completely healthy and injury free.

The Red Sox called up this young prospect from double A, and they put me on the Phantom DL with a calf strain to make room for him even though I'm good to go.
