strings detached

A person with "strings detached" is essentially free; completely lacking obligations, or responsibilities. No strings attached. Once you realize there is nowhere to hide, you begin to wonder what you are hiding from. You can unplug... but eventually you have to plug back in. The world keeps moving while you're unplugged. The "Universal One" moves on with or without you. It is possible to get left behind. Separateness can grow. It may be hard to reverse.
