The grade where you start to get treated like a teenager and not a child. The work is harder, the teachers are meaner, and the girls are more slutty but I would still do anything to go back to the 7th grade.

Off-Grid

Term used to describe a state of being off of the internet, no Facebook, Twitter, Skype, AIM, Gmail chat, Myspace etc. The only exception being e-mail and phone calls (only school/work related). Generally used in cases of drama-overdose.

"My dog died yesterday, and my boyfriend just dumped me so I'm going off-grid, guys. Call me."

"That bitch is totally cyber-bullying me so I'm going off-grid until that chick cools off."

Goidelic

Goidelic was introduced in Ireland by the Gallaeci of Galicia, N.W. Spain circa 500 B.C. The Gallaeci spoke an archaic Goidelic Q-Celtic tongue called Gallaic. The Gallaeci are the Halstatt Celts that settled in Galicia circa 800 B.C. In Ireland, Gallaic evolved into Primitive Irish.
Celtiberian was introduced in N.E. Spain by the La Tene Celts that settled in the area circa 500 B.C. Celtiberian is also Q-Celtic, but not Goidelic.

The name for hundred in Gallaic is "ciot and "cet" in Old Irish, both words are Goidelic.

Gideon's Trumpet

A euphemism for the male sexual organ. Derived from the 1974 movie "2069: A Sex Odyssey", which is the first result on the internet movie database IMDB.com when a search is performed for "Gideon's Trumpet". As a euphemism, this phrase has no connection to the book of the same name by Anthony Lewis or the movie based on the book.

She enthusiastically blew Gideon's Trumpet.

Gideon Gilmore

The Lord himself. Maker of the eternal and instant classic of instrumentation entitled 'A Dark Road,' which enlightens the listener to the meaning of life instantly. When heard for the first time, progressive rock legends David Gilmour and Jimmy Page immediately collapsed and knew their work was done, and the song was the reason for the death of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. If it couldn't get any better, the legend himself released a 1 hour EP called Gideon Gilmore, which featured masterpieces such as "Metal Madness" and "A Mental Descent" which instantly became recognized as the peak of human achievement and instrumental composition. Music teachers from all around the world preached to their pupils about how unbelievably good the Gideon Gilmore EP was and how masterfully Gideon played all the instruments.

8th grade

A year filled with mostly shit but a little bit of good stuff. The only good stuff is when you get the chance to embarass the teacher or get your two days with the hottest girl in school. Its mostly filled with fuck-boys and fake gangsters. 90% of the things you hear about others is a lie but you want to believe all of it, because you never know what is true. You make quiet a few friends but always lose most of them the next school year.
