Basking Ridge

A smallish disgustingly rich town in New Jersey. Defining characteristics include SUVs, loads of money, and a largely preppy lifestyle.
A good indication that you are a Basking Ridge resident is that when you crashed your mercedes on the turnpike on the way to a Dave Matthews Band concert because you were driving while high, your parents immediately bought you a new BMW.

Everybody wants to get as far away from Basking Ridge as possible for college.

Fruits Basket

A character rather than plot based manga about sixteen year old Tohru Honda, who lives with the Sohma family after her mother's death. She discovers the Sohma family secret, that they are possessed by the 13 animals of the Chinese Zodiac, and when they become weak or get hugged by someone of the opposite sex, they turn into their Zodiac animal. Tohru becomes friends and helps over come fears and troubles with all of them.

There are an awful lot of main characters, and you can divide them into separate catergories, cursed and non cursed.

The manga > The anime

The anime is stupid, and ends after 26 episodes, and only goes up to book 8. There are 20 (at least) Fruits Basket books published in Japan.

Fruits Basket is published twice every month in Hana To Yume.

bill brasky

Somewhat of a drunken man's mythological figure. From a sketch on Saturday Night Live. Usually comes up when you have a bunch of drunk guys gathered together in a parking lot... I observed this phenomenon first hand. Then they continue to quote Brasky's outrageous features and achievements.

We were standing around drunk and one guy said, "They used Bill Brasky's foreskin to cover Yankee Stadium when it started raining". And immediately there was a toast "TO BILL BRASKY!".
