An individual in a group who soaks up all the teasing/joking/mocking that takes place in the said group.

Phil: "I heard Giles managed to get with a fugg ugly 15 year old yesterday at the union!! she must have been from the 'school of the Blind' down the road"

A bantercheque is one persons recognition of anothers sucess. It can be anything from something as innocent as buying a DVD you wanted, or sleeping with the girl youve been buttering up for ages!!

baste + insertion
Act of injecting flavorful substances directly into a food (usually meat).
Act of creating openings in a food for said substances to flow into.
An opening created by this process.

After much bastertion, this turkey is guaranteed to be juicy.
These steaks will soak up lots of sauce after a little bastertion.
The bastertions quickly filled with delicious marinade.
