Commonly used in commission based retail setting where customers are saying they are “just looking,” telling you about the things they’ve already purchased, playing the guessing game as to how much an item costs, pretending they have money to even shop in the establishment, and/or trying to haggle a lower price despite the fact the salesperson doesn’t set the damn prices.

Coworker: so did you close the sale?
Me: naw she’s just looking. WMFT.
