A slang term for a Warlock spell in World of Warcraft called Deathcoil. The term originated because of the imbalanced nature of the ability. It was coined when people began saying that Deathcoil was a counter to a player's lack of ability at playing the game, and that Deathcoil in itself was able to compensate for that.
"Fantastic, I'm so glad Blizzard gave all Warlocks Skillcoil, I mean, why try when you can just hit 1"
One of those cheap-ass coin-op crane/claw machines where one deposits endless quarters in hopes of attaining those hot, plush toys, but only receives no shortage of frustration.
Damn, I just put like $5 into that skillcrane and the claw didn't grab a thing!
