A neologism formed by accidentally conflating "crack pipes "with "heroin needles" to form a portmanteau of urban detritus. "Crack needles," a term that may include either type of referenced drug paraphernalia, are often found littering vacant lots, alleyways, or abandoned buildings in the less illustrious, seedy districts of America's disinvested and depopulated inner cities. The lack of specificity about which drug may be semantically valuable in helping cover multiple societal eras of drug addiction, or it may just make the utterer of the term sound like a damn fool.
"They had, like, the most AMAZING cocktails at this bar, right? But the neighborhood is, like, super sketch. Like, we couldn't find parking out front, so we had to walk half a block, and there were, like, crack needles in the alley, and stuff. And this homeless person asked us for change out front." - Karen, probably, who normally only comes into the city for sporting events or anything with valet parking

The Space Needle is a landmark and tourist attraction in Seattle, Washington, United States.
It was built for the World Expo fair in 1962, along with the monorail system, providing transit from the Seattle Center to Westlake, a downtown shopping mall (which was built later and attached to the monorail). It was designed to look like a UFO (except they hadn't mastered the flying in one place part). When it was built, it was the tallest building in Seattle.
The Space Needle has a revolving restaurant inside the top, and an observation desk above. Inside the area of the observation deck is the gift shop and coin-operated telescopes. The observation deck was remodeled recently to add a revolving solid glass floor, which is great for those with fear of heights to look down from, and even better for the braver ones to take selfies on. The top floor is 520 feet high.

On New Years Eve 2021, due to pandemic restrictions, instead of the usual fireworks show the Space Needle put on a virtual light show that was only viewable online.

One advantage of a "shot in da arm" from a hyperdermic needle --- as opposed to guzzling a cup of strong coffee --- is dat said nerves-kicker won't just "go right through ya" like steaming joe will, and so you'll be able to fully avail yourself of said elevation-buzz without having to repeatedly dash to da WC for da next half-hour.
