Facebook Groupies (FBG)

(noun) The individual, or group of individuals, involved in obsessive adoration of a particular facebook friend where a close relationship does not exist in real life. The Facebook Groupie will like or comment on almost any status update, even when they don't undertsand the meaning or are not involved in the conversation, and live under the illusion of a close relationship. Often, there is a symbiotic relationship with the facebook whore. The FBG is distinguishable from the stalker because their comments are not discouraged.

Tiffany: I'm not really sure why Chuck commented on that--he has no idea what we were even talking about.

Jim: Meh--he's just one of those Facebook Groupies (FBG).

When you use the name of a facebook group in an argument to prove a point and/or insult or hurt someone.

Joanie: Why are you so upset about me dating that kid?

Zane: It hurts watching the one you love, love someone else.

Mike: Damn, just dropped a facebook group on it.

popular group

a group of kids who consider themselves cooler then all the other kids. being popular gives one the right to act better then their peers. kids in the popular group are stereotypically preps and good looking.

In the movie Mean Girls, Regina Jones, Gretchen Weiners, Karen Smith and Cady Heron were the leaders of the popular group.

Groupy

A young woman, often under age, who will do anything to get closer to a person of high status, such as an up and coming rap star. They will often resort to sex but can use other methods such as obsessive research and knowledge concerning the "likes/dislikes," habits, pet peeves, and other trivia concerning the idol.

Originates from groupie, but spelled with a 'y' for 'young', signifying that the groupie is underage or younger than the idol.

"That little rat Liv is probably up-and-coming rap star JT's biggest groupy!"
