Someone who surfs the web too much, so much in fact, that they have devolved into a pale gelatinous blob who can no longer lift themselves out of their chair. The cyber larva will have to eat by means of robotic feeding tube, and excrete by means of auto-cleaning bed pan or colostomy bag. The cyber larva's limbs will eventually diminish into nubbins, except for a very pronounced mouse clicking tentacle.

Eric used to be top of his class. He was also president of the chess club, volunteered down at the homeless shelter, and was top runner on the cross country team. The he became addicted to the internet. You wouldn't recognize him. He's become a cyber larva.

Cyber Skinny

Attempting to make your fat ass look skinny on the internet by deleting pictures of your larger self on social networking sites such as MySpace and Facebook. Includes cropping pictures so that larger parts of your frame are not visible.

Not to be confused with photoshopping your own pictures, that is just plain lying.

Emily used to be fat in college, but you would never know that by looking at her Facebook profile because she is now cyber skinny.

cyber geek

Someone who can't do anything without doing it online.

She keeps in touch with family and friends via her MySpace account, orders movies through Netflix, manages at least one group list or message board, pays her bills online, uses Evite, etc.

I'm on the phone with Wendy and she says, "Oh, sorry, I'm distracted. I'm on Netlix.com"
I say, "Oh! You should get 'Laurel Canyon' with Frances McDormand. It's fantastic!"

She says, "Send it to me as a recommendation through Netflix."

I say, "Can't you add it to your queue right now? Or, write it down on a piece of paper? You are such a cyber geek."
