Awkward Raptor

When the sign language for "awkward" is combined with pretending to be a dangerous dinosaur which has tiny arms and walks on two legs. The posture of the body is crucial. One must bend the knees, and arch the back, while walking. To do the sign for awkward extend your thumb, index, and middle finger, forming an L with your left hand. Do this with both hands on a flat plane in front of you, pointing with both hands at about a 45 degree angle. For extra emphasis, curl each finger a bit! The Awkward Raptor is used in moments of extreme awkwardness, and is five times more badass than using any non-extinct animal.

When Timmy, Gigi, and Rebecca bumped into their philosophy professor at a hookah bar where he was making out with their old sunday school teacher, they all immediately turned around and did the Awkward Raptor.

Awkward Baby Turtle

This is derived from the original "Awkward Turtle". This is a hand gesture performed in the occurence of an awkward moment, usually defined by a long silence. In this particulare motion, the hands are placed on top of each other (as in "Awkward Turtle") and the thumbs are pointed outward and circling forward. Next, to create the "baby turtles", the hands are pounded together and separated and then shaped into smaller "turtles" with the both pinkies and thumbs out and circling forward once more.

Awkward DeNiro

When you bang the bejesus out of the homely office secretary after getting tanked in front of the whole office staff. This makes for extremely awkward and uncomfortable situations every time you avoid eye contact with her in the office and everyone else laughs like a hyena behind your back.

awkwardly endearing

A description accorded to people whose behaviour is by normal standards considered weird or unusual, but is nevertheless deemed to be rather cute. The etymology of this word derives from encounters between one biracial bombshell and one tall, lanky American, the latter for which the term awkwardly endearing was coined for.

When a boy offers to buy a girl a cup of coffee out of gratitude for her having sent him notes. Although sweet the offer, in saying, "so you can snuggle up a little longer in bed in the morning", it is more than a tad bit weird. In other words, it is awkwardly endearing.
