Marc Shaiman rule

In musical theatre, regardless of the subject matter of a show, a song is written for a black woman to sing (or more commonly, belt) that is supposed to be a showstopper. Named after famed film and theatrical composer Marc Shaiman
Ben: That black woman's random song in the second act really stopped the show in a good way.

Charles: It was smart of the composers to employ the Marc Shaiman rule.

Rule of Drinking #1

Open bar is a dangerous game, respect it.

Free booze, whilst wondrous and full of joy, is also dangerous.
Tread carefully.

Fleeting Demographic Rule

1. A gimmick or storyline may be reused freely and safely after a few years of dormancy.

2. The unwritten rule that, after a given number of years, there has been enough turnover in the fanbase that a writer can re-use the same gimmicks and storylines with impunity.
The fleeting demographic rule allows YouTubers to reuse jokes and catchphrases after they have become repetitive.

The 50 Percent Rule

The 50 Percent Rule was first invented in spring 2016 by Swiss citizen K.E.

As opposed to state laws with a limited scope, it is described a universal moral in modern human behaviour.

It regulates the number of seats taken by a single guest in a restaurant, bar, café, eatery or diner.

You and your company may claim all the seats of a specific seating area (i.e. table or sofa space) if you make up for at least 50% of the total number of seats without the need to grant fellow guests access to the remaining seats.
A: "Hey man, can I take that seat?"

B: "No, sorry!"
A: "Why, is there anyone joining you? Or do you just need 4 seats for yourself?"
B: "There's nobody joining me. And now let me do my work!"
A: "Well, sir! Haven't you heard of the 50 Percent Rule!?"

Roblox Rule 34

You poor soul... If your friends told you to look this up, don't.

Rule 34 is internet slang for porn. Basically, if it exists, there's porn of it. If you don't know what porn is you're too young to be searching this.
Bob, a troll: "Hey Timmy, have you heard of Roblox's new rule?"

Timmy: "No, what is it?"

Bob: "Look up "Roblox rule 34" to find out."
