Users can create accounts and post definitions for free and with minimal content filtering policies to stop them, which offers a significant insight into the sociopolitical climate of social media.
I've cited multiple UrbanDictionary entries in my recent article on internet sociology. You'd be surprised at how clear a picture you can get of it through a resource as simple as this one.
