When someone is feeling stressed or anxious they may be asked to 'take a relaxative' as another way of asking them to calm down. Another way of telling someone to de-stress or not worry so much.

Mike "I'm so worried about this next tee shot."
Big Dog "Mate, take a relaxative and smash it down the middle."

Wife "Are you going to get off your butt and do the yardwork?"
Husband "Geez, take a relaxative - I'll get to it after the football."

Any email you receive from relatives that starts with phrases like "This is cool...", "You might find this interesting..". These emails are neither cool or interesting and are just a waste of time.

I've had to add my parents email address to my spam blocker because of so much RelaSpam.

It is used to straighten the hair. Another name for the relaxer is called a perm- what mose Black people call it.

Last week I got a relaxer/perm.
Because Shanika'a hair was nappy, her O G gave her a relaxer/perm.
