poverty pimp

Any social worker, do-gooder, social service agency, or faith-based organization who comes into a hood not their own and plays at being the savior to folks that don't need savin. Expects said folks, most often minorities, to be grateful and happy and do all that is recommended. Poverty pimps do this in place of supporting real community organizing of the people who live in these communities to solve their own issues. Poverty pimps often directly benefit financially from pretending at saving people and communities, usually based on their job. Most often interested in keeping people from dying, but not succeeding.

The man on the street corner walked up to the white, older social worker who came from a rich neighborhood and was slumming in the hood and called her a poverty pimp.

A TV show were a group of mechanics take someones old car and turn in it to a dangerous mobile death trap of various gizmos and gadgets. The 'Pimp My Ride' team see no danger in putting a jacuzzi full of water in a car with 14 inch plasma screens, and also the pimp my ride team cannot see putting pool tables and popcorn makers on top of car boot unpracticle?

I think the idea of Pimp My Ride is to turn your car into as much fun as possible so you will never want to leave!

CAR OWNER: Thanks for the paint job on my car Pimp My Ride, but I really don't see what the point is of having a full fitted kitchen, complete with a state of the art dish washer and a cooker hood on the boot of car?

The act of an owner of a 'Pontiac Vibe' who decides to pimp out or modify his/her Vibe in the cheapest way possible.
A real-life parody of the show 'Pimp My Ride', usually involving household odds and ends and other miscellaneous items to try to 'pimp out' their car.
Making fun of every Ricer type of person who tries to put huge loud fartcan mufflers on their stupid little cars because they think it looks cool.

Dude check out the fartcan on that exhaust!
Yeah I know. RIDICULOUS!...Might as well put a chromed-up soup can on it instead.
