_transitive verb_
to blame your fart on someone else, attempting to make them question whether it really was them who farted... and their sanity.

Innocent: "What's that smell?"
Gaslighter: "I don't know, I guess you farted." Innocent: "Don't gaslight me! It was you!"
Gaslighter: "Poor dear, you must be tired... you don't even know. The bathroom's just upstairs if you need it. I don't mind."
