An online movement that promises to "rewind" meme culture back to the mid-2010s (2015-2018) on the first day of January 2026.

This will probably not happen, because it is too unheard by the internet community, and majority of people will not give a shit about it and continue their normal routine.

My response lengthy and invoked our relative superiority to other countries in all of the metrics he cited that made 'America not great.' The Great Meme Reset

A TikTok "Event" that involves "resetting" the memes back to the old, dank memes due to AI brainrot slop taking over, it's said to happen in January 1st 2026 but failed due to lack of participation, AI slop taking over and old memes were dead since those dank memes were either overused or nobody's laughing at them in 2026.

Dude 1 - It's where the old memes were making a comeback in 2026 due to the rise of AI slop.
