1. Math invented by Sir Isaac Newton in the 17th century. Involves calculating "limits", numbers that are normally unable to be calculated except through differentiation.

2. The mathematics of Limits and Derivatives.

3. A freakin' impossible math class. Calculus AB is too hard, BC is impossible.

Calculator Rape

The act of intentionally entering random numbers, letters, or symbols into one's calculator to take up space or make the calculator run out of memory. Works best with graphing calculators, as they have a big screen and letters. Words commonly used to rape calculators include "lol", "roflcopter", and "roflmao".

AP Calculus

I don't know what everybody keeps griping about. This was EASY! Especially the AP Calculus BC exam. If you want to rack your brain good and hard, go try some 'real' math first, e.g. abstract algebra or functional analysis.

AP Calculus AB student: "Oh my gawd this is SO HARD!!"

Senior Math major: "Bitch, please. I'll take related rates and integration by parts over rings and external direct products any day."

Something warm, fuzzy, and incredibly useful.

A point mass moves in the xy-plane with a velocity given by 6t2+9t+2. What's its average velocity between t=1 and t=4?

Try solving that one without calculus.
