Linkin Park

They are an alternative rock band. They are also known as Nu Metal.

Before they were Linkin Park they were Hybrid Theory, before that they were Xero.

They have 3 major albums; Hybrid Theory, Meteora, and Minutes to Midnight.

They have multiple side projects and secondary albums; Reanimation, Jay-Z Linkin Park: Collision Course, Live in Texas, Road to Revolution, etc.

They have teamed up with a lot of different artists; Busta Rhymes, Motley Crue, Julian K, Chris Cornell, Paul McCartney, etc.

They founded the summer tour Projekt Revolution which features over a dozen different bands every summer.

They have 6 members;
Chester Bennington - Vocals
Mike Shinoda - Vocals, Emcee, keyboardist, rhythm guitar
Brad Delson - lead guitar
Dave (Phoenix) Farrel - bass
Rob Bourdon - drums
Joe Hahn - Turntables

They are one of the most successful bands to combine rap and rock.

They are hated by some and loved by others.

Fan: "I love Linkin Park, their lyrics seem to say exactly what I'm feeling!"

Non-fan: "They're posers who possess no talent and who only attract emo teens as their fans."

Linkin Park

A very successful band that created their own incredible sound by combining rap, metal, and pop. LP released two awesome albums and two not so awesome albums. One of the bad albums was a collaboration with the rapper Jay-Z, which was a mistake because there is already a rapper in the band and the stuff that JZ raps about is niggaz, pimpin, and other shit that does not suit Linkin Park's style. Linkin Park's rapper, Mike Shinoda is currently working on a project called Fort Minor.

Linkin Park is an awesome rock band.

A person that worships Linkin Park music and Linkin Park itself. They are usually found on large populated areas, but are also spotted in small regions around the world. Eccentric and young, they frequently claim that they saw Chester, but, later on, they realize it was just some oddly looking old lady with very small breasts.

Linkin Park

One of the most popular bands of all-time. The accessibility of their music is often mistaken for them being a pop or boy-band. The first official release, 'Hybrid Theory', established a much-copied rap-metal sound, then unique to the band. Their next release, 'Reanimation', lost the band several fans; people who could simply not comprehend the fact that a band can re-interpret their songs, and use hip-hop & electronica to do so. The third album, 'Meteora', managed to come somewhat close to the raw power created in the first, but with overall more chilled, melodic vibes. The fourth LP is seen as the 'sell-out' CD, in which the band collaborated with hip-hop star Jay-z, literally saying 'here we are, MTV. We offer you our backsides.' Many believe that the band can recover from this error, but we'll have to wait till 2006 ends for that.......

'I really liked Linkin Park, up until that project with Jay-z. That killed them'.
