A rollercoaster of a journey, high school is the subjugation of your hopes and dreams.
The words "High School " derive from the anglo and greek words "heah" and "skholē" which mean "of high class" and "leisure" respectively.
Ironically, high school is a place that's completely the opposite of being high class, for it's probably one of the filthiest, shameless, places one will ever go through.
What is true though, is that fact that high school is nothing more than leisure time. Teachers, counselors, coaches, and many other figures of authority will try to sugarcode the highschool experience by bombarding you with math, science, history or other shitty lectures. Every single thing that is taught in high school is a pretext for preparing young- lazy- teenagers for life outside of school when, in fact, nobody knows shit... in or out of school.
High school is hell. Cafeteria food sucks, hallways are too crowded, and it's full of jocks and teasers who ceaselessly try to get to the top of the food chain. The sad thing is, students waste countless of hours fixing their hair, drowning in make up, spending more money than they are entitled to, and faking laughs all so they can get the approval of their peers but fail to recognize that everybody is too engrossed in themselves to bother thinking about anybody else.
High school is a place of broken promises, heart braking crushes, and boredom.
The weird thing is.. its going to be the best years of your life.

Upon graduation, Tommy reflected on those high school years and realized life was nothing more than a big joke.

well, high school is this place where you go when your nearly all grown up and ready to live your own life but not just yet. In high school some of the greatest friendships will fall apart, you will meet some of the best people you will ever meet there and some of the worst. High school can make you feel seagull but when you finish it. you are gonna miss it. you will have so many good memories from it and you need to live them out.

Get the High School mug.An institution that tries to prepare young adults for the real world just a little bit, but most often results in bitching and moaning. It is only after completion (or failure) of High School that students realize how easy and relaxed they had it.
Person A :"Damn dude, I can't go to the bar - I just payed rent, electric, heat, internet, and filled up my POS car with gas - I got like 5 bucks in my account."
