a term for when a cryptocurrency/ memecoin trader raids and shills their bags (investment) to other people but doesn't feel they are receiving the deserved amount of validation, support, or rewards from those in a position of influence, so they start to become angrier and angrier descending into madness, fury, toxicity.

Those fallen victim to bagrotting are likely to resort to spreading lies as a means of damaging a person's reputation, trying to disempower them ("if they dont use their influence to uplift MY bags then I want to destroy it"), or engaging/ incentivizing their followers/ circle to also lash out and spread lies to disempower. (incentivize circle by telling lies to galvanize them against the target)

Sam never had any reason to dislike John until Sam shilled him a memecoin for weeks and John didnt support. Sam went from being kind to John to becoming angrier and angrier, until he was fully screaming at him every day, lying to his followers, trying to spread lies about John. Sam was so emotionally invested in his bags that he began to bagrot. he was fully bagrotting and lashing out.
