Joe Biden Moment 

1.) A moment in which you start a sentence and don’t know where it ends so you just ramble on and on until you make something that resembles something sensible.

2.) When all sense is lost for a moment and you forget what you were doing.

Teacher: Did you bring your homework?
Student: Sorry, I had a Joe Biden Moment and forgot it at home

buffy moment 

the moment at the end of a any tv show where the each character stares into the middle distance during a camera pan to emphasise how terrible the world is and aren't the characters so incredibly fucking brave to have lived through another awful, awful day of fake pain and terror.

very popular with medical shows too

each of the characters in grey's anatomy stared just past the camera in their buffy moment to instill bitter sweetness in the show while silently counting out their paychecks
