He's the kind of guy to call his girlfriend ugly then say he's kidding and then know that everything will be fine. But to his girlfriend, Piper, it's not fine. I mean he says it in such a not joking way there's NO WAY it could be a joke. None the less she still loves him, she just doesn't see how he can love her.
