The term defines the cause of why things go wrong or something breaks when there is no real explanation. The term may also be used to refer to a gullible human being. Someone who believes anything you say.

Person 1: "Dude I don't understand why this motor won't turn over."
Person 2: "Because Plotkin"

Person 1: "I can't believe that I listened to him. I knew something was wrong."
Person 2: "You're a Plotkin bro."

Plot Coupons

A plot Coupon is a term used for describing lack of plot etc. from books games etc. allowing the writer/ director to do basicly any thing that would normaly have been ruled out by the situation/ charicters/ personalities, often in an idiotic, improbable or unexplainable manner.

It can also be used in real life situations for unexpected bouts of luck.

Did you see how many plot coupons that film used?
