Get the merciful maidens mug.(noun) Pejorative term for an underprivileged Texan. Used commonly by Texas socialites to convey disapproval or disdain towards people from rural areas/southern Texas.
"merican" is a derivative of "American" popularized by 43rd President of the United States, George W. Bush. "merican" is not capitalized due to the inconvenience of simultaneously requiring two keys (shift + a), which could require putting down the enormous hamburger and typing with both hands.
"wetback" is now an ethnically-based derogatory term for Mexicans, but was officially used by the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service until 1954.
