Urkelship

Urkelship is defined as a relationship between two entities that is accepted by one entity and rejected by the other entity.

This word originates from the American sitcom Family Matters. A character, Steve Urkel was relentless when asking Laura Winslow to go out on dates, be his boyfriend, etc.... He would get rejected every time yet he would keep trying.

Example #1: I call her everyday, but she never calls back. I am in an urkelship.

Example #2: I couldn't get into Canada again. They told me "Canada was closed." Canada and I are in an urkelship.

Steven Urkel's very cool alter ego. After years of being the world's most renowned nerd, Steven Urkel finally used his scientific prowess to create something useful. Steven Urkel created a machine which could transform him into a cool ass guy who actually got laid.
