a group bound together by fate to achieve a common goal. Ka, meaning destiny, + tet group. From Stephen King's "The Waste Lands"

A slang term originating from the western suburbs of Philadelphia, often used as an insult. While originally intended as a noun to describe an individual that undertakes a lifestyle that one does not agree with, it later evolved into a homophobic slur. While portrayed less harsh than the "N-word", it can hold a similar weight and often maybe be referred to as the "T-word".
Chris: Jesus Christ dude I fucking hate that Tet Rat. What a douche. Like who the fuck does he think he is?
Cal: Come on Chris, don't use the T-word. That's hurtful.

Tet Offensive
(VIETNAM HISTORY) Major effort by the National Liberation Front ("Viet Cong") and the PAVN to defeat the US-backed puppet regime in Saigon (the putative Republic of Vietnam"). The Tet Offensive began 31 January 1968 and was suppressed around 24 February.
In Saigon, NLF forces attacked the presidential palace, the airport, the ARVN headquarters, and US Embassy. The US and ARVN forces, who were caught off guard, quickly responded and within a week had recouped most of the lost territory. The NLF held out the longest in the pre-colonial capital of Hue, fighting back with great tenacity.

Prior to the Tet Offensive, the US military could claim it was well on its way to winning the war. Afterward, Gen. William Westmoreland admitted 200,000 more troops would be required to win the war, and US opposition to the war ballooned.
However, the NLF was nearly annihilated in the Offensive, with almost 60,000 killed.

When you are playing Tetris and have a mild-to-major case of Tourette's Syndrome, or involuntary spurting of cuss words, grunts, miscellaneous sound effects, etc. Usually due to a stupid keying mistake.
I was quick-dropping some sick Tetrises and Tetris pieces in general, but I accidentally pressed spacebar (quickdrop) instead of rotating the "t" piece once more... I once again went "quick-drop crazy" and wasn't accurate enough to land a tall piece in the appropriate whole. This led to a bad case of Tet-Tourette's, because my impeccable design to clear lines like crazy was ruined.
