The genuine definition relates to "Piece of Sh*t", which is derived from the movie "The Siege", where the Arab man screamed "you treat me like a pessov sh*t". Used to describe something bad, unfavorable, or poor, however, without the need to move as many mouth muscles. "Plather" simply roles off the tongue in one smooth motion and can even be abbreviated "pltv".
