A term invented by DDS/BBM camp to label freedom loving Filipinos who believed in the yellow struggle that toppled the dictatorship of Ferdinand Marcos in the world famous 1986 EDSA People Power peaceful revolution who also supported the candidacy of VP Leni Robredo in 2022 Philippine elections whose chosen political color is pink, hence the term PINKLAWAN. PINKLAWANS have been fighting against DDS fake news mongerers online and Marcos revisionist propagandists since 2016 elections.

A term invented by trolls to describe the supporters of Leni Robredo, who used the color "pink" for her campaign in 2022 election. Trolls and Maritesses (or those who loves to make and believe stories with zero evidence or no supporting facts backing it) says the supporters of Robredo are the very same supporters of former Aquino admins as well. Cory and Noynoy Aquino used the color "yellow" (dilaw) in their campaigns, calling their supporters as "dilawan", thus pinklawan term is born, completing their narrative that Robredo is only a Puppet of the Aquinos, when in fact, there was no Aquino left with an ambition in politics (maybe Bimby? We'll see).

It is a Filipino term identifying supporters of Leni Robredo, who was vice president of the Philippines 1916-1922. As VP, Leni has shown integrity honesty & exemplary competence in public service. Her office gained star audit rate for efficiency in the use of govt funds. So, Pinklawan stands for good governance integrity honesty & competence. With small budget, VP Leni gained support of donors who fund her pro poor programs. Donors trust her because she won't steal. Individuals volunteer to help her. So Pinklawan also stands for volunteerism and collective work to help one another.
