A phalange is something that is in or on the outside of a plane, the left one is more commonly wrong or broken, as phoebe buffay says. Anyway, the point is, if your friends calls you and tells you to get off of a plane because there is something wrong with the left OR right phalange, then Id suggest that you'd listen to them.
