A person who appears to be an activist on a social networking site such as facebook or twitter but that is the only place it happens. Kind of like a keyboard warrior, they are only an activist on the internet.

You get a lot of this around national disasters or for causes like cancer.

Used by people to make it seem like they care about something to impress others.

Someone's status update: insert any concept here 97% of people won't re-post this, the 3% who do are my friends.

Me: This guy is such a fucking internetivist.

Month's like, Change your picture to your favourite cartoon to support AIDS research in Africa.

Me: I'm sorry, how does this do anything at all?

intervention: To help someone get a real life. Where Everyone gets together to help a friend that lives their life through, cell phone, I-pad, lap-top. And has no real life outside of the Internet.

internetvention : he or she lives her their through Face book, pinterest, e-mail, and texting. Everything in their life is 2 dimentional, and now they dont know how to have a real conversation, or interact in real real life capacity.

Someone with zero social skills who hides behind the curtain of the internet.
An internetovert might also have a fake profile on social networks that portrays him/her as who he/she is not.

Look at that guy, he can speak a word straight. He hides behind his internet persona all day. Yeah he's an internetovert.
