An imaginary relationship that someone makes up in their head because they are secretly very deeply in love with someone else. It falls somewhere between crush and stalking.

John: "Man I wanna tell you something but you have to promise to keep it a secret."
Fred: "Sure thing man, whats up?"
John: "I'm totally in love with Kelly man!"
Fred: "Dude that's never gonna happen, I think you have an imaginationship going on."
John: "Yea I guess your right."

Imaginary Lat Syndrome

Imaginary Lat Syndrome is a common case of someone, typically a male, who believes they are rather muscular when in reality this isn't the case. Those with Imaginary Lat Syndrome can typically be seen walking uncomfortably while flaring their small lat muscles and tensing their arms in an attempt to look "jacked." In reality, it appears douchey and looks like a toothbrush has been shoved up their ass. Manlets are at high risk of falling victim due to overcompensation reasons.

imaginary friend

Usually as a result of not having much or any friends in reality, your mind creates an imaginary friend. Even the creator of an imaginary friend cannot see them, unless if they are on LSD, or just hallucinogenic. You're not nessecarily "crazy" if you have one.

You can just talk to them in your mind, they can think for you sometimes, you can ask them for advice or ask them to decide which movie you want to rent tonight. You can get into arguments with them, and you can have intelligent conversations with them.

But...

You can't kill them.

They might slowly fade away in time... but... I don't know...

Yeah.

Also.

You can completely change into your imaginary friend. Sad I know.

Some people have imaginary friends.

Imagines

A type of fanfiction where the reader is included in the story as the protagonist. Often times uses 'y/n' (for 'your name') to represent the reader's name. Popularized on Tumblr with stories about One Direction.

teenage girlfriend: "I just read an imagines where Harry Styles and I went on a vacation to Mexico. Why don't you ever treat me like that?"
