An individual who, through the irresponsible act of mindlessly regurgitating unchecked or erroneous information found online, contributes to the proliferation of misinformation, potentially causing confusion, misinformation, and harm.

Tom, an infoparrot, spread a spurious home remedy for diabetes that he found on an obscure forum, stubbornly asserting it as fact even in the face of overwhelming medical evidence against it. Tragically, his aunt tried the remedy and ended up in the hospital. She is now permanently wheelchair-bound due to the resulting neurological complications.
