This is independent of any Dominance or submissiveness in the relationship. Two men married to each other are each their partner's "Hubbin". Whereas the term "husband" implies the reciprocal "wife", a "hubbin" is married to another "hubbin". The plural "Hubbins" can refer to both partners in a gay marriage, or to all married men in same sex marriages.
