Hanoi or Ha Noi

Hanoi has been inhabited since at least 3000 BC. One of the first known permanent settlements is the “Co Loa Citadel” founded around 200 BC. Hanoi has many names such as “Thang Long”, “Dong Do”, “Dong Quan”, “Bac Thanh”, to name but a few. Now, Hanoi is the capital of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (SRV) and Hanoi is a second to non melting pot in terms of education, science, culture and landscape of Vietnam. It is known dat Hanoi is very famous for its awesome and skilful handicraft products like silverware which is made in former Ngu Xa village, pottery in Bat Trang village, and the streets’ names were associated with those guilds made those products. Hanoi is very famous for Pho (a kind of traditional food), “Cha Ca” which is made in La Vong village, “Banh Cuon” which is made in Thanh Tri and “Com” (or “green sticky rice” which is wrapped in Lotus leaf) made in Vong village. Also, you can also eat snake dishes in Le Mat village. Hanoian accent is the standard one of Vietnam. Also, Hanoi is a city for Peace.

I was walking around the center of Hanoi heading towards the Old Quarter of town when I came across three Vietnamese ladies selling all sorts of local fruits. The funny thing was that they were seated almost in the middle of the road where motorbikes were seen moving from all directions passing.

The act of raising your hand as to give a high five but instead a grenade or any other explosive is thrown. Hanoi coined from the vietnamese, who had a fondness for doing this in the Vietnam War.
Used in Tropic Thunder.

Taste of Hanoi

Vietnamese theme resturant where food is prepared at your table similar to Benihana's. While guests are waiting for a table the ladies are striped naked & placed in a small wooden crate. Gentelmen are seated on a dirt floor with a wicker basket placed over their heads, then filled with live rats. When your table is ready your hands are tied behind your back & then lead thru a low narrow dirt tunnel with live bamboo vipers nailed to the celing. The main dining room is basicly a large outdoor bamboo cage. Several drums of burning karosene are placed around the room & helicopters can be heard off in the distance along with intermitent small-arms fire. The smell of napalm & human waste can be found in the air. When your chef arives a waterbuffalo is hearded to the table & shot several times in the head with an AK-47. Guests are alowed to cut there own steaks from the beast. Waiters speak little english & mostly yell in vietnamese periodicly inserting a heavily accented 'GOD DAMN GI.' Often one person at the table is singled out & repeatedly struck in the head with a cane pole. Customers are served a variety of drinks served in a cup with chiped ice & shards of broken glass. During the meal guests are seranaded by a NVA genaral who shouts communist propaganda thru a bull horn. After paying the bill, you receive a Metal of Honor for geting your family released.

After eating at Taste of Hanoi I have a new respect for American Vetrans.

Hanoi Hannah

A Vietnamese Woman, who in the Vietnam War worked for Hanoi Radio, broadcasting messages of anti-war and propaganda to the United States and South Vietnamese Troops. She was born sometime in 1931, and died September 30th, 2016 (aged 85) in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.

the name given north vietnamese prison camp where american and ARVN soldiers were imprisoned and tortured during the vietnam war. located in the capitol of what was then north vietnam, hanoi.
sen john mccain (r-az) was imprisoned there and repeatedly tortured. sen mccain was awarded the congressional medal of honor, the country's highest award, upon returing home for his heroic actions of forcing the nva to release soldiers lower in rank, causing the nva great embarassment.
sen mccain has now taken another moral stand against adolph bush and his army of inhumane gutter scum who advocate similar torture.

the hanoi hilton was the place where bush should be placed for 60 days and THEN asked if he still advocates torture for simple uneducated peasents taken prisoner while fighting an invading army.
