Foom

The word foom originates from a bastardisation of the phrase "From South" which was turned into "Foom Siuf" which was mocking people who originated from the southern parts of Tasmania, and some towns. The word Foom is one that can mean alot of different things, but it is usually used as an expression meaning that there was general coolness in the area.
