somebody who drives a flatbed truck. basically, country slang for a flatbed truck driver. It's an affectionate term.

Flathead

A term used to describe a person who lives "on the edge" and is very wild. The term came from Michael Flatley, who invented the Riverdance Irish Dance ensemble. "Flathead" was used to describe his fans who were very wild and crazy and the term grew from there...
