Ad Eminem (Latin for "to Eminem"), short for argumentum ad Eminem, typically refers to a fallacious argumentative strategy whereby genuine discussion of the topic at hand is avoided by instead attacking the character, motive, or other attribute of Eminem, or persons associated with Eminem, rather than attacking the substance of the argument itself.

Person1: "What do you think of global warming?"
Person2: "I think Eminem sucks!"
Person1: "Hey that's an ad Eminem"
