Second-Hand Embarrassment

When you cringe while watching people embarrassing/publicly humiliating themselves, especially when they DON'T deserve it. People who suffer from this are generally empaths, or they may suffer from severe social anxiety.

"I tried to tell my friends that Dave couldn't dance, but they forced him to anyway. I got second-hand embarrassment in the worst way while watching him. By the time I pulled him out, his face was the deepest shade of red imaginable, and it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that he was trying not to cry from embarrassment. We haven't been on speaking terms with those "friends" since that incident."

Moral of the story: Don't force people to do things they're not comfortable with, especially under protest. It may be funny to you, but you've gotta think of other people.

Ember

Ember is a quiet but fiery girl. She doesn't talk a lot but when she is passionate about something she is never afraid to speak up. She may seem tame or gentle but you do not want to mess with her. She is beautiful. She is nice if you are nice to her. A lot of people hate her, but that's only because they don't know her. She gives the best advice and can relate to everyone. She is the best friend you will ever have.

Person 1: that girl is so quiet
Person 2: naw she's an ember just wait and she'll be talking your ear off

How embarrassing!

A phrase used to humiliate someone who has just made a mistake or revealed some embarrassing thing about themselves. Is best spoken in a deep voice and used on someone who is giving some form presentation or at least standing in front of a large group of people.

Teacher: (to class) "sorry, i made a mistake up on the board"
Student: (to teacher) "How embarrassing!"

Ember

Ember is the nicest, sweetest girl you will ever meet, she will defend you to the death and always have your back. But beware, if you get on her bad side, you will not live to see another day, she be a ferocious cupcake, she is sweet, but if you are rude to her in any way shape or form, she will kill your ass. Embers are beautiful, on the outside and on the inside, they have the best personalities. Embers make the bestest friends, and stay your friend, they trust you, and are trustworthy with your secrets, all in all, an Ember is what you want in life, all you need, she is loving and cares about EVERYONE. (Unless you are a huge dick to her first)

Boy: did you see her? She has so many friends, not to mention she is gorgeous
Another boy: dude! Stay in your league! That's an Ember you're talking about, she is way too good for you!
