A Chivasting is a DUI check point usually set up on holidays to catch drunk drivers.

If it’s near a holiday and you come upon a bunch of cops looking for drunk drivers you’ve been ensnared in a Chivasting so proceed with caution.

An early 1970s General Mills potato chip made from dried potatoes. They were pressed into round shapes with a waffle texture. Pre-dated Pringles. Advertised as less grease.

At camp in 1970, we had Chipos, not plain potato chips, with our hot dogs.
