A large gathering of chavs in one particular place. They tend to smoke or take drugs when in a chavering. As in all types of nature, they believe that it is safety in numbers.

I went to get some fish and chips, but i couldn't get to the door because of the chavering.

Also know as chav or kavs. A female who likes to shout out profanities such as "what a ride". A chaviesta is widely known for her violent nature and tendency "to kick the shit" out of people. A chaviesta is ultimately a slightly less extreme female version of a chav.
