Bys stands for “bully yourself” it is used just like kill yourself (kys) but when you don’t want to be that mean. There are also variations for example: bhs (bully herself) or bts (bully themselves). All in all it’s a very inclusive term that is used to insult people when you are scared they might actually kill themselves.

Telling someone to "bys" is basically saying go do your little trauma arc, touch grass, and respawn when you're done being cooked.

Up Bys!
Originated as a term used to describe pulling a wheely on ones bicycle but has since evolved into a commonly heard piece of street banter.
On seeing your friend on the other side of the street, or perhaps whilst passing in a car with the window rolled down as a friendly rousing gesture shout "Uuuuuuuuup bys!" with raising pitch on the 'up' and even higher pitch for the secondary 'bys'.
